HSE fees have risen

With effect from 6 April 2019, the charges made by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) under their Fee For Intervention (FFI) scheme have risen to £154 per hour.

FFI charges are made when a HSE inspector considers a breach of health and safety management serious enough that he or she needs to write to the business concerned requiring action to be taken to remedy a “material breach”.

A pro-active review of health and safety management arrangements can help businesses to avoid such breaches and any associated costs.
